Thom McLeod

Founder, Managing Partner

As a consultant and executive, Thom has personally advised dozens of senior leaders around the world on issues ranging from strategic sourcing and supply chain to strategy and change management. His track record of bottom-line results for clients across many industries, from aerospace to IT services, is valued in the billions of dollars.

Thom holds an MBA from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business, and a BA in Economics and Chemistry from the University of Virginia.

Founder, and Managing Director - Europe

Bill has served as a board member, senior executive, and consultant across his career predominantly in the Procurement and Supply Chain space – GM at FreeMarkets, President and CEO at Exostar, Founder at C2FO, and Founder at Tenzing. His passion is helping clients around the world drive value within their operations and has long been recognized as a leader in the Aerospace and Defense industry. At Exostar LLC, he was brought in by the board to turn around the joint venture between aerospace giants, BAE Systems, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Rolls-Royce. Exostar was acquired by Thoma Bravo, and most recently Arlington Capital Partners.

Bill has worked in nearly 40 countries in support of his clients. He is a private pilot, downhill skier and enjoys heli-skiing in Alaska.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, and a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

Simon Rycraft

Simon is both a prior C-level operator as well as consultant and advisor, across multiple industries, always with a focus on profit and operations improvement. He is a well-known enthusiast, expert and trainer on the topic of Negotiations and the author of the best-selling book “Negotiation Hacks”. Simon oversees several of our practice groups, including Procurement and Negotiations, and runs our marketing department.

Simon is a mentor and advisor to startups through programs at Cambridge University in the UK, Draper University in the Bay Area, and the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Simon holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania, a BA (Hons) in Business and Economics from the University of Nottingham and an MCIPS from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Sean has spent almost 20-years leading global Private Equity go-to-market teams for several high-profile technology companies including Gainsight, Citrix, & SAP. Previously, he held executive advisory & leadership positions at the Corporate Executive Board. He oversees sales, business development and strategic growth initiatives including Tenzing’s support for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.

He is a board member, advisor, and sponsor to a variety of philanthropic organizations including the Columbia Business School’s Private Equity Program, George Mason University Hillel, the Jewish Federation of DC, University of Virginia’s Jefferson Society, Georgetown Friends of Lombardi Foundation, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He, his wife & in-house counsel Teresa, his daughter Lila, twins Lincoln & Stella , and his dogs, DJ and Zimmy all reside in Arlington, Virginia.

Sean holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Political Science from the University of Virginia.
